The Devil Came on Horseback

The Devil Came on Horseback exposes the tragedy taking place in Darfur as seen through the eyes of an American witness who has since returned to the US to take action to stop it.  This film documents former U.S. Marine Captain Brian Steidle, who is an unarmed military observer with the African Union. He is there with only a camera, a pad of paper and a pen.

This past August, Orange County for Darfur met with all 6 Congressional Representatives from Orange County to urge more action regarding Darfur. "Meeting after meeting, we got feedback that citizens need to convey their concern about this issue.  In response, OC For Darfur is organizing a postcard campaign. We gathered 80+ people on the beach, took a photograph and made it into a postcard.  We hope everyone will sign these after the movie."
