We hope you will join us for this community-wide, family friendly celebration :) Why?Trauma is a silent epidemic in our world. Trauma shatters a person – left untreated and unhealed, it prevents one from working, caring for loved ones and leading a healthy, productive, fulfilling life. Trauma poses insurmountable challenges especially to the most vulnerable in our society.
Starting in 2012, Living Ubuntu is hoping to launch a Trauma Recovery Program for refugees, immigrants and victims of domestic violence. Our 1st year budget for this community-wide program is a little over $101,000. All funds raised at this event will go towards launching this program. Find out more » We need your support! Co-sponsors and partnersA wide coalition of Orange County organizations have partnered for this event. These include:
